We just launched AstroWitch Volume 1 on Kickstarter, and it’s the first Bad Bug Midnight title to be released as a trade! Plus, there’s gorgeous new cover art, courtesy of Hedwin Zaldivar.
SO, WHAT’S IT ABOUT? For eons, Lujuria stood among a pantheon of godlike cosmic beings, helping them expand their dominion from world to world. But when she finally witnesses the true horror of their ambitions, she makes the dangerous choice to betray her own kind.
Now hunted by the very entities she once called allies, the ancient celestial being must grow stronger before they can silence her forever. Her only hope lies on Earth, where she seeks out the last living descendant of her bloodline—a lonely young woman named Luna.
When their souls merge, Luna is thrust into a hidden war between cosmic powers beyond human comprehension. Together, they must learn to wield their incredible new abilities while evading a pantheon determined to reclaim their lost sister and continue their conquest of the stars.
AstroWitch was one of the first series published under Bad Bug Midnight, Bad Bug Media's mature readers imprint. Written by Ruben Romero and Casey Bowker and illustrated by Alessandro Amoruso (Red Sonja, Vampirella). So, it’s very fitting that this is the first BB Midnight title to get the collected treatment!
