It’s going to be a great summer with launches for Bad Bug Midnight titles.
We’ve partnered with some great storytellers and art teams for new titles that explore Greek mythology, pirate lore, vampires, and 80s horror.
The EXPLOSIVE creative team behind Horus in Hell (Allen Dunford, Kit Wallis, and Dave Lentz) is back, this time with Final Girl Next Door.
Poor Kate just can’t catch a break, having lost all her friends and loved ones to the gruesome carnage of masked maniacs. Not long after, every killer from her past learns of her whereabouts and descends upon the town in a bloody fashion. However, with the help of a video store manager who has a huge crush on her, she will be ready to take them all on.
A humorous romantic comedy with plenty of blood, gore, and sexiness to spare.
You can follow the campaign here. We will be launching in the next 3-4 weeks.
Next up, we’re digging into Greek mythology with a story from Brian Hawkins (Zenescope, Aftershock) and the art team of Gabriel Nissi, Antonio Wong, and Aaron Locust, with Curse of the Gorgon.
A schoolteacher with a terminal illness lucks out with a miracle cure that immediately restores her vitality and lust for life. However, things take an unfortunate turn when the petrified bodies of eager bachelors are left in the wake of her ill-timed transformations into the legendary Gorgon, Medusa.
If you’re a fan of Greek mythology, you will appreciate the many elements that Brian injects into the story as the limited series progresses.
This will be launching in the next few weeks, so be sure to follow here.
Finally, we have Pirates of Miskatonia, which, if you didn’t figure it out by the name and cover above, will merge Lovecraftian horror and legendary pirates from history. Martin Dunn (Transformers, Rick and Morty) has partnered with Zoran Jovicic (Vanya) and Novica Milivojević to bring you this exciting (and sexy) limited series.
More to come on this title soon.
Oh…one more…
Jason Pell (Flickering Lights, Monster Girl Beach Party) has partnered with Roberta Ingranata (Marvel) on another limited series that will, no doubt, be a blockbuster event for Bad Bug Midnight, Brides of Dracula. For now, we will share this cover…but we can assure you…this one is going to blow the doors off. Cannot wait to share more with you in due time.
Next post I’ll be sharing all the great news coming from Bad Bug Media and our non-mature titles. Be on the lookout for that next week!
