Hey gang! Mike Tener here, Creative Director of Bad Bug, filling you all in on where we are and where we’re going in the month of April.
For starters, we’ve had an amazing start to the year in Q1 with Kickstarter launches and fulfillment progress. (If you want to check on fulfillment, scroll to the bottom).
VANYA: THE LOST WARRIOR #5
Coming up, we have several launches in April, but we wanted to start with Vanya: The Lost Warrior #5, which launches Tuesday at 11:00am EST. :)

Stunning, right? Now…what about the story? What’s the future of Vanya?
Well, sexy time abounds, absolutely, but the one thing that I enjoyed about writing/co-writing this series is that it is developing beyond a “jungle girl” concept and moving into territory that will catapult the series to new heights which means…more dinosaurs…more aliens…more action.
Can’t wait to show you how bold we’re getting with the story and content.

ASTROWITCH
Another exciting series that we’re producing has an extraordinary team behind it. It’s a truly POWERFUL addition to the erotica line.
From writers Ruben Romero (Illusion Witch) and Casey Bowker (Hollowed) comes an EPIC story about Luna Dominguez, a gaming streamer, who becomes the unwitting host of a cosmic deity and sexual deviant known as The Astrowitch. As their complicated union takes hold, they must work together to fend off the many terrifying enemies of The Astrowitch.
A really wild story filled with action, humor, and, you guessed it, naughtiness. Take a look at the first page from series artist Alessandro Amoruso (who also did the main cover above).
Whew. I think that’ll be all for today. Next update will be all about the AMAZING team we have on Roseblood Manor 3 (Also launching in April) and another book that we’ve said nothing about it, but totally rocks. Can’t wait to finally get this stuff out of Dropbox folders and into your hands.

Fulfillment Update:
Periwinkle - hardcovers and all other rewards came in; still waiting on standard books to get back from the printers. Can’t wait to have this monkey off our backs and into your hands.
Bobby Jo 1 - same print order as Periwinkle, so…yeah. Totally ready to go. Just waiting on the friggin’ books.
Death Nell 2 - 33% complete. Had a delay due to artists other commitments. Thanks for being patient on this one.
HyperGeist 2 - lettering is finishing up. PDF should be sent out in the coming days, so ready to print this bad boy and get it out there in the world. Second issue is such a huge step up in every way. Backerkit surveys were sent. Check your spam folders if you didn’t get it.
Roseblood Manor 2 - campaign just finished (thank you all for the support!), once the funds arrive, we will be ready to place our print order. Might take about two weeks. Backerkit surveys are being sent out in a few days.
His Name is Wrath 3 - all books are shipping this weekend. Made the mistake of not following up with fulfillment partner. Everything’s going out this weekend. Throwing in something extra for all physical backers as a way of expressing gratitude for being patient.
Rotted Lyre 2 - fulfillment, to my understanding, is wrapping up. Kris is shipping this book since it’s his IP. Going forward, these will be shipped by us and our fulfillment team.
Vanya 4 - Cover A Naughty, 11x17 Prints, and International Orders are all that’s left to ship. This should be done this weekend as well. Wanted to make sure we were 100% shipped before launching this time.
Bear Skin: Silent Issue - books are being ordered! Stay tuned!
Flickering Lights 1 - 80% shipped! We caught word of a printing error on the last page for Issue 1 after books were shipped. Not all books were affected, but a good portion were. The printer is working with us (it was their fault) to ensure it doesn’t happen in the future, however, we don’t think that takes care of the backers, so Jason and I are discussing a solid solution for backers of #1. Obviously that solution costs money, so we’re trying to be frugal and still make things right the way we would want if we backed a book with the same issue. More to come there.
She Brings A Devil 1 - as mentioned before, this a co-produced title with a partnership between BB and Skeletal Press, which Ryan Cummins operates. Follow him on here or on Kickstarter to stay in the loop on updates with that campaign. Bad Bug is not doing fulfillment for that project.
