Bad Bug hired me to write their newsletter. They’re a big fan of my Dlog (dog blog) Biscuits and Gravy Dishes the Tea…I’m sure you’ve heard of it.

Anyhoo, my first assignment is to tell you about Bobby Jo and the Appalachian Alien Apocalypse? Yikes. What a mouthful.

Thankfully, the story isn’t as convoluted as the title. It’s about a fiery redhead named Bobby Jo who, with the help of her trusty baseball bat and shotgun, hunts alien invaders in the Appalachian Mountains.

Things get even more complex for our titular hero as a new threat descends upon her small town of Humming Rock and a centuries old secret reveals itself. Intriguing!

Gratuitous violence. I’ll never understand it.
