·         This is Mike Tener, Creative Director/Amateur Writer of the indie comic publisher that brings you the stories you didn’t know you needed – BAD BUG! Comic books are uniquely powerful creative mediums because, no matter the scale or absurdity of the story, it’s completely achievable. We are committed to blowing your mind with fun in entertainingly absurd ways!

·         We’ll keep things relaxed here and only update you when we’re either bored OR we have something significant going on like a new title releasing, a new promotion, or, most likely, a crowdfunding campaign.

·         At any point in time, you can unsubscribe, BUT you will be missing out on free digital content like books and so on, so…don’t unsubscribe…it’ll hurt our feelings. Do you want that on your conscience?

WHAT IS SUBSTACK? 

·         Substack is THE platform for bringing our content straight to you. It’s a newsletter with a super-soldier serum. You can read books, scroll through galleries of images, and interact directly with the creative teams.  

·         As for what you can expect from us on this platform, you’ll see videos and interviews, an inside look at our creative process, giveaways, and a whole lot of other things that we can’t immediately think of, so we’ll just say, “much, much more.”  

WHAT’S GOING ON RIGHT NOW?

·         Currently, we have two crowd funding campaigns on Kickstarter: Rayna: The Bastard Queen #1 and Black Jackets #4 and #5 (you can also get issues 1-3 as well).

·         RAYNA: The Bastard Queen tells the story of a young barbarian warrior who seeks vengeance on a coven of witches that murdered her tribe when she was a child. Finding her place in a brutally unforgiving world, Rayna will explore beautiful and haunting landscapes while slashing her way through monstrous threats like griffins, vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural beasts.  

·         Guaranteed to be an action-packed yet emotional story of carnage and vengeance.  GET IT HERE!

·         Monsters are real and they suck. Join six teenagers as they navigate the mysteries of a fraternal organization of monster hunters known as the Black Jackets. It’s been six months since their parents – who were Black Jackets - disappeared without a trace, and now Eva, Isaac, Lynn, Jack, Asa, and Ellie have no choice but to take up the mantle in their absence. It isn’t long before the plot thickens with otherworldly surprises around every turn.

·         It’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer mixed with Ghostbusters.
