PROJECT SPOTLIGHTS
Mike Tener here with two special projects related to my origin story in comics.
The first is The Dragonfly. I conceived of this comic while attending college from 2002 to 2006. My friend Noble Ward helped motivate and inspire me to keep my foot on the pedal and make it happen. The series is equal parts James Bond with aliens and superheroes. Lots of cool alien weapons and villains galore.
In an ironic twist, Noble has revived the long-asleep series through his publishing house. Below is an image of the hero. Click on it to be taken to the campaign, or click here.
Additionally, a very wise and seasoned creator, Roosevelt Pitt, who belonged to the same publisher (KID Comics) as I when starting with The Dragonfly, has his series, Purge, on IndieGogo. It’s the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the character.
Think of it as an afro-futuristic techno-thriller with a superhero. He puts so much loving work into this character and series. You won’t be disappointed with it. The story and art are amazing.
